This wasn’t about cornering more than one market simultaneously. The concept of Connected Fiction revealed itself over time- seven years, in fact.
It wasn’t about hogging every genre either. The books come to visit and stay in their own clothes.
It is about reconstituting the village through fiction, one word at a time, one book at a time. From adolescence to adulthood. Teens and the significant adults/elders in their lives- parents, guardians, carers, teachers….
It’s a singular creative effort, for the benefit of community.
It’s a new idea. To some, rogue, to others, a much needed one.
It is the ultimate extended metaphor in action.
