Being true to oneself and one’s intentions can be an arduous journey. Words spoken, felt and meant in movement, in film, on canvas, on the stage, on the page. Stories woven, your own funds and energies spent. Was it all worth it? you ask. Yes. You volunteered for this worthy task. It’s the sometimes-weary winding road, the dusty trail, the surprisingly scenic route. Racing heart, firm resolve and well-trodden boot. It’s who we be. Rebels with a sacred idea which we want left untainted, uncorrupted, undefiled, gracefully unpolished to share. I wouldn’t change it for silver or gold.
